Meet the Candidates
VP of Operations:
Elizabeth Mavetz is a GRC Specialist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta focusing on IT governance, risk, compliance and information security.
She has 18 years of IT experience ranging from instructional technology design, organizational change management, strategy planning, IT process improvement and design. 5 years ago, she began transitioning her career into IT GRC and Information Security.
Elizabeth currently serves as the VP of Operations on the ISACA Atlanta Board of Directors. She has actively volunteered for the past 3 years as Director of Communication, Webmaster. Elizabeth has an MBA, CLU and CRISC certification.
I am honored to continue serving in the role of VP-Operations. My goal is to continue to provide as many opportunities as possible to the membership base, creating quality content and being cost conscious. I will continue to find innovative ways to communicate with our members, bring our members together for learning and networking, and provide excellent customer service.

Secretary Candidate 1: William Dicker
William Dicker currently serves as the Information Security Manager at Guardian Pharmacy, where he is responsible for security and compliance enforcement for 38 remote long-term care pharmaceutical companies and one Support Services Headquarters.
William is a US Veteran having served in the US Army for over 23 years. As a lifelong learner, he enjoys mentoring and teaching others. To satisfy that passion, William instructs graduate and undergraduate information security courses with components of risk management, penetration testing, and compliance at Georgia State University.
William holds a Master of Science in Information Security from University of Maryland University College (UMUC). He is currently enrolled as a Doctoral student at Georgia State University with his dissertation focused on executive decisions that lead to organizational vulnerabilities. In addition to education, William has attained numerous information security and compliance certifications, including the prestigious Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
Secretary Candidate 2: Brice Dobson
Brice Dobson is an information security leader with broad experience across first and second line-of-defense functions. Currently he serves as the Information Security Officer for U.S. Operations at LeasePlan, a Dutch financial and commercial services provider with operations spanning 32 countries.
Brice holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and in addition to being a member of ISACA, is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC²).
A longtime resident of the north Atlanta suburbs, Brice recently relocated back to Atlanta after a multi-year assignment on the west coast. He and his wife, Paige, currently reside in the midtown Atlanta area. His past volunteer experience includes a board membership with a local chapter of the American Cancer Society and an operational role with the U.S. Forest Service in wildland fire prevention.
Secretary Candidate 3: Markus Engel
Markus Engel is an independent advisor focusing on IT governance, risk, and compliance management offerings and solutions, currently providing services through his own firm, NextCaliber LLC.
He spent the past fifteen years in IT security and privacy audit and consulting roles in the financial services, telecommunications, utility, and high-tech industries, advancing companies’ posture with data security and privacy, SOX 404, COBIT, PCI-DSS, ISO 27K and other regulatory or best practices standards.
Earlier in his career, Markus was a consultant at Arthur Andersen in Switzerland and in the U.S.
He went on to hold various positions including Senior Cyber Incident Response Leader with IBM Global Technology Services; Managing Consultant with IBM Security; IT Compliance Advisor at RentPath (f.k.a. Primedia; IT Audit Director at Invesco; and SOX Compliance Manager at Assurant.
Markus speaks fluent German as well as conversational French and Italian and holds active CISM, CISA and Scrum Master certifications. In his spare time, when not occupied with his family and their English Springer Spaniel or raising puppies for a service dog program, he is a passionate music lover, audiophile, bicyclist and motorcyclist.
Secretary Candidate 4: Scott Christian
I seek to serve the ISACA Atlanta chapter as Secretary. Beyond the responsibilities of my office, I am excited to contribute to professional development and community building through our trainings, meetings, communications, and GeekWeek. I appreciate the opportunity to serve you.
