This interactive session will address the benefits and challenges associated with Data Analytics by relating practices that have been honed by over thirty years of work in the field. It will illustrate how businesses and auditors can embrace the use of analytics to deliver better risk identification and management, potential costs savings, and a reduction in fraud activity.  

The session will cover: the importance of combining business process, IT, and audit to develop focussed analytics that, starting with the audit objective, will identify the risks, controls and analytics that produce value-added audits.  The session will leverage the knowledge and functionality gleaned from years of experience and analytics proven in hundreds of enterprises.  

Target audience: Auditors, Risk professionals and their Managers, Directors and Executives who seek to be more knowledgeable about Data Analytics and the functionality of associated wisdom and experience.
