We are pleased to invite you to our General Assembly 2022.

This in-person (physical) AGM will be preceded by a Cyber Security Coalition event GRC: Be Connected! - Building an effective cybersecurity governance culture from 10:30 to 17:00 at the same location (BluePoint Conference Centre Brussels)

Your participation in the program and the networking moments (lunch/ dinner reception) is free of charge. The cost prices for lunch & dinner are an indication of the loss incurred in case of no-show.

You can invite another colleague (no ISACA member) interested in this subject matter and register him/her as a guest.

In order to ease the decision-making and votes during this AGM, all questions can be sent before the AGM to our office at secretary@isaca.be “

Building an effective cybersecurity governance culture

The open ecosystem of the Internet gives enormous power to cybercriminals, and in turn, it makes cybersecurity more than just a technical problem - it's a business problem. The potential consequences of a realized threat are extensive, and that has catapulted cybersecurity into the boardroom. In addition, many organizations are going through a technological transformation, which has increased their focus on cybersecurity.

In these increasingly challenging times, many organizations struggle with implementing and enforcing an effective cybersecurity governance culture. The governance frameworks of ISACA are a good starting point for organizations, who want to define and adopt a governance structure tailored to their own needs while at the same time follow industry standards and norms.

This event addresses this issue and provides a forum for learning, knowledge sharing and networking. The event is a continuation of the successful partnership between the Cyber Security Coalition, ISACA Belgium Chapter and Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management that started in early 2021 with the webinar series GRC: Be Connected!

Participation to the general assembly is subject to the rules provided for in our articles of association and for the remainder, we will implement the necessary technical and legal measures to allow the general assembly to be held properly.

Bus and pre-metro lines with the "Diamant" stop at the intersection of Reyers Avenue and Diamant Avenue. BluePoint Brussels is located a few steps further on the corner with the Kolonel Bourgstraat - close to the "VRT" - radio and television tower.
 
For the cyclists, "VILLO!" station "Diamant" is nearby.
 
Parking: 
BluePoint Brussels has a paying underground car park with 150 spaces spread over 2 floors. You will receive a ticket upon entering which you must validate before leaving.
 
Accessibility: 
The building is accessible to persons with reduced mobility.
