Part 1 – Booster on Blockchain: What, Why & How? (Jon Holvoet – Credendo & Filip Heremans – T-Mining)

Jon Holvoet is CCOE Manager at Credendo and blockchain lead for Area42, Credendo’s innovation lab.

Credendo is a European credit insurance group that is present all over the continent and active in all segments of trade credit and political risk insurance, providing a range of products that cover risks worldwide.

Filip Heremans is Chief Product Officer at T-Mining, an Antwerp-based blockchain startup focussing on applying decentralized technologies into Supply Chain Logistics.  Filip combines a deep understanding of both the Logistics business operations and Information Technology.

T-Mining offers a Decentralised Technologies Framework, to build decentralised applications (dApps) fast and cost-efficiently - leveraging reusable functionality - and to setup and run decentralised platforms more easily. This Framework is tailored for Supply Chain use-cases, including Maritime, Port, Logistics, Insurance and Transport. T-Mining successfully implemented several use-cases applying decentralized technologies such as Blockchain, together with international customers like MSC, PSA, Credendo and the Port of Antwerp. Our use-cases are focused on improving and securing the physical and document flow.

Part 2 – Pentesting a blockchain implementation (Pierre-Alain Mouy - Nviso)

Pierre-Alain is managing the NVISO’s Frankfurt team in Germany, specialized in source code review and penetration testing of web applications, mobile apps, and distributed ledger solutions.

NVISO is a member of the German Cyber Security and Fintech Digital Hub based in Frankfurt and Darmstadt. In cooperation with financial institutions, the Hub contributes to the improvement and promotion of security in distributed ledger applications based on Hyperledger, Ethereum/Quorum and Corda.
