Effective management of users with administrative privileges is one of the key cyber security risk mitigation area. The risk exposure from privilege access is multi-dimensional – someone with privilege access can make significant changes to operating systems and applications configuration and operation, render numerous critical security settings ineffective and can access and misuse sensitive information. The Presenters:

Harry Cheema

Harry is the Lead Director in the Deloitte’s Federal Government Cyber Risk Advisory practice and has been responsible for the delivery of a number of protective and cybersecurity engagements for Deloitte’s various public and private sector clients. Harry is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.

Anu Edirisooriya

Anu has been in Cyber Security for over 12+ years and has extensive experience in incident response, intelligence driven defence, Certification and accreditation and SOC transformation.  Anu has worked as a security engineer across government, Defence and industry implementing a variety of technical controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of enterprise data, network and systems.  Anu has been in the privilege account management space for the past few years assisting organisations in securing and managing privilege accounts. Anu is currently Solutions Engineer at Cyberark Australia and New Zealand.
