Speaker: Erin Finzer (PhD, University of Kansas)
Erin Finzer (PhD, University of Kansas) is an Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Professor of Spanish at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. From the Office of the Provost, she oversees curriculum, compliance, continuous improvement, and high school concurrent education. She is passionate about advancing academic access through innovative educational business models and work-based learning and has led numerous institutional effectiveness and classroom-to-career initiatives. In 2022 she directed the launch of CyberLearn, an instructional consortium to expand cybersecurity education throughout Arkansas.
Dr. Finzer’s award-winning research on Latin American literature and cultural studies has appeared in the Latin American Research Review and Hispania. An Arkansas native, Dr. Finzer enjoys living in Downtown Little Rock with her two daughters and serves as the president of the Historic Arkansas Museum Foundation Board. She is also a taco aficionado and loves good food and foodways from many cultures.
