Topic: Hacker Stories: Lessons learned in a year of compromises
Blurb: I've collected real-life case studies from my own pentests over the last year. I'll be diving into them to show how I specifically target user behavior over technical vulnerabilities. I'll be talking about my mindset when I perform these attacks, lessons learned from my stories and my recommendations for defending against gaps from human behavior in addition to technical vulnerabilities.

Daniel Nguyen, Lead Security Consultant, LBMC Information Security

Bio:
Daniel is a penetration tester specializing in web application penetration testing. He previously worked as a cancer research associate and as a software developer before transitioning into information security by obtaining his Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification. Daniel leverages his prior development experience to aid in pen testing web applications, finding vulnerabilities within source code, disassembly/decompilation and reverse engineering of applications, and developing exploits.

Daniel currently holds the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) and GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) certifications.
