December 2020 - A Joint Virtual Meeting of ISACA-CMC & Association of Government Accounts (AGA)

The ISACA Central Maryland Chapter and the Association of Government Accountants (AGA) invite you to our annual joint training holiday event on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. ISACA Members, AGA Members, cyberaudit, assurance, Cybersecurity Nexus (CSX), risk management, governance, and internal control professionals and practitioners new to the field and those with years of experience will benefit from this event. The training event offers an opportunity to expand your network and build onto your knowledge and skills.
Please note: Space is limited for this event.
Registrations will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Art of the possible - How we designed our teams to deliver
on customer needs #1
Session description:
In this talk, Mark and Dan discuss what they have found to be the
most effective strategies for fulfilling customer needs. They will
elaborate on how the strategies achieve project goals and the
ways in which this approach can be scaled to a full-service
lifecycle company. Mark and Dan will share their successes (and
missteps...) in a series of what they hope to be amusing and
inspiring short stories that prove their point.

Topic #2: Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) a Christmas Carol, Past, Present, and Future!
Session description:
A holiday story trilogy following along A Christmas Carol – Hear ye how CMMC was created, tested, and molded from feedback, what’s ye current state of CMMC, what will future bring, what’s next fer ye all?
We promise you a high knowledge value session.
Earn 3 CPEs toward your CISM, CISA, or other certification (CPE credits are based on 50 minute increments)

* A break will be offered in between training sessions
Zoom Instructions: Prior to the training, each attendee will receive an email containing a link to the training slides and a link to register for the Zoom session. Anytime prior to the training, click on the registration link and enter all the required information and click "Register". Make sure, after you click "Register" that you have received a confirmation email from Zoom. The confirmation email contains the link you will use to enter the zoom session on the day of the training. Note: If you have difficulty on the day of the event please contact Pat Hamilton at

Cancellation Notice: Please refer to the “Fees” page for our refund policy for this event. Full refunds will be given if registration is cancelled prior to noon on Friday (December 4, 2020) before the meeting is held. Use either the link in your confirmation email or select “Already Registered” at the bottom of the meeting summary event page to access your registration (i.e., the email address used to register for the event and your confirmation number will be needed to access/modify/cancel your registration). as refunds will not be given, although attendance is transferable. Reservations made after this time will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, but cannot be guaranteed due to space limitations and may include a late fee. ISACA Central Maryland Chapter reserves the right to cancel this event if there is not sufficient participation. Participants will be notified in the event that the monthly meeting has been cancelled and paid registrations will be refunded.
