The ISACA Central Maryland Chapter invite you to our monthly training event on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. ISACA Members, AGA Members, cyberaudit, assurance, Cybersecurity Nexus (CSX), risk management, governance, and internal control professionals and practitioners new to the field and those with years of experience will benefit from this event. The training event offers an opportunity to expand your network and build onto your knowledge and skills.

Topic 1 : Data Analytics: Optimizing Continuous Techniques course

Effective use of data and analysis techniques can streamline audit processes and enhance audit testing routines.  Audit professionals should understand continuous optimization techniques in data analytics to help manage and monitor this key tool. This course covers the theoretical foundations in continuous data analytics optimization.

As technology advances, so do the methods and techniques employed by malicious actors. To ensure robust cybersecurity measures, organizations must be proactive to stay ahead of potential vulnerabilities and emerging threats. Two essential components of this proactive approach are security audits and penetration testing. In this session, we will explore what security audits and penetration testing entail and how they provide companies with ongoing data regarding potential vulnerabilities while helping stay ahead of new threats.

This 90-minute session will cover:

  • Benefits of Security Audits and Penetration Tests
