ISACA Central Ohio Chapter

Welcome to the ISACA Central Ohio Chapter. The chapter’s primary purpose is to promote education and other professional development opportunities relating to the fields of IT governance, IS audit, cybersecurity, privacy, control, and assurance. The chapter achieves this objective through sponsoring local educational seminars and workshops, conducting regular chapter meetings, facilitating networking, and helping to promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control and security profession throughout the region.

Our chapter was founded in August 1983 as the 27th chapter of the ISACA Global organization. This chapter is led by regional ISACA members elected to leadership positions through nomination at the ISACA Central Ohio Annual General Meeting (AGM) as well as other regional members who fulfill volunteer roles in helping the chapter achieve its goals and objectives.

Our chapter webpage will serve as the main message board for our members, providing them with information on what’s new, which chapter events are planned, what benefits are available to our members, and other useful tools, so make sure you check these pages regularly!

Message From the President

On behalf of the Chapter, I am honored and excited to welcome you to the ISACA Central Ohio Chapter. As your chapter president, I look forward to working together with each one of you to foster a community that is rich in knowledge, professional growth, and collaboration. ISACA, as an international association focused on IT governance, offers us an unparalleled platform to share our experiences, challenges, and solutions. Here in our Central Ohio Chapter, we have the unique opportunity to tailor this global knowledge to our local needs, creating a community that is not only well-informed but also tightly knit and supportive.

Each year, our chapter puts together an array of engaging events, insightful seminars, and valuable networking opportunities. These are designed not just to keep us abreast of the latest developments in our field but also to enable us to contribute to the broader conversation on IT governance, risk, security, and privacy.

Whether you have been a member of our Chapter for a while or are recent joiner, we have a place for you. The opportunities are many, including serving on the chapter board of directors (BOD) as a volunteer or becoming a board member, speaking at our events, or simply attending our monthly chapter meetings and events.
