Challenging Security and Audit Status Quo (or Traditional Approaches)(April 2019 Chapter Meeting)

When:  Apr 11, 2019 from 11:30 to 13:00 (ET)
Associated with  Central Ohio Chapter

Summary:

In this session Robert will share his experiences, perspectives and suggestions about challenging traditional approaches to security and audit. New disruptive technologies emerge and existing technologies are constantly evolving e.g. Cloud tools. How does that affect security and audit processes and principles? Are they still applicable, are we getting quality results, should we still use Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) that we used 10 years ago? Or  … should we change our approaches, should we learn, evolve and adapt as well? What have or should have changed from your perspective or experience?
