A Risk-Based Approach to VRM (January 2021 Chapter Meeting)

When:  Jan 14, 2021 from 12:00 to 13:00 (ET)
Associated with  Central Ohio Chapter
Summary:
Vendor Risk Management (VRM) can be complicated and time consuming, but finding ways to leverage SOC reports, specifically SOC 2 reports, can help your organization work more efficiently and leverage work done by qualified and independent audit teams. VRM can also be made easier by using tiering of vendors and engagements along with tools to add automation to the process. In this presentation, Barb Wernicke will focus on using a risk based approach to leveraging SOC reports and vendor tiering to help increase efficiencies for your VRM teams.
