Tony Brooks from Cybsense and David Gray from Cynet will explorer how an in-house developed initiative of BugSEC a cyber consultancy and red-team services firm grew into a successful product. The product is Cynet 360 which has gone onto become a Gartner recognised world leading automated breach and detection platform.
Cynet was created in response to the growing prevalence of advanced persistent threats (APTs) and targeted attacks from unknown origins. Cynet 360, provides an agentless, comprehensive detection and remediation solution for mitigating advanced threats, including unsigned malware and zero-day attacks.
Cynet 360 is regularly used as an incident response platform and has supported over 1,600 incidents to help organisations recover from cyber-attacks.
During this talk we will look at some the incidents supported by Cynet 360 and lessons learned.
June 2020 Cynet raised $18 Million Series B funding with Deutsche Telekom as the main investor. Deutsche Telekom started using the platform at the end of 2019 and where so impressed they became the major investor during the recent Series B funding round.
Cynet 360 is an XDR platform, that collects and automatically correlates data across multiple security layers – email, endpoint, server, cloud workloads, and network to provide visibility across the whole network infrastructure.
