Join us for an immersive one-day workshop designed for cybersecurity managers, security leaders, and operational defenders seeking to understand and effectively leverage generative AI within modern security operations. This hands-on, practitioner-focused program demystifies generative AI technologies - particularly Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT - and demonstrates how these tools can augment threat detection, accelerate incident response, enhance SOC efficiency, strengthen vulnerability analysis, and support cyber governance and risk management activities.
Participants will gain a foundational understanding of how generative AI works, its integration into security workflows, and how emerging AI-powered threats are reshaping the cyber landscape. The workshop combines expert-led instruction with guided lab exercises, enabling attendees to experiment with AI-augmented security tasks, craft effective prompts, evaluate AI-enhanced tools, and develop strategies for safely and responsibly adopting AI within their organizations.
By the end of the course, cyber leaders will be equipped to lead AI-enabled initiatives, assess risks, guide workforce readiness, and develop forward-looking plans for integrating AI into enterprise security programs.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand foundational concepts of generative AI, including LLMs, diffusion models, and multimodal systems, and how they apply to cybersecurity.
- Describe current and emerging uses of AI/ML in cybersecurity operations, including SOC workflows, threat detection, and incident response.
- Identify key generative AI use cases such as anomaly detection, predictive analytics, vulnerability assessment, and threat hunting.
- Recognize and evaluate AI-enabled cyber threats, including phishing, deepfakes, adversarial attacks, data poisoning, and malicious automation.
- Interpret major AI-related policy and regulatory frameworks such as the NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act, and understand their relevance to cybersecurity operations.
- Integrate AI risk management, data governance, privacy protection, and assurance practices into cyber programs.
- Assess and compare AI-augmented tools, including SIEM/SOAR enhancements, decision-support systems, and automated playbooks.
- Establish evaluation criteria for selecting, testing, and monitoring AI-enabled solutions, including performance, bias, transparency, and vendor risk.
- Develop a strategic roadmap for organizational AI adoption, including workforce upskilling, responsible use, operational integration, and long-term resilience planning.
