For mid-market and enterprise organizations, the bottleneck to AI ROI is rarely model accuracy—it’s organizational absorption capacity. When leadership attempts to overlay intelligent systems onto legacy operational models, friction breaks the process before value is realized.
Designed for mid-to-senior leaders, this session delivers a practical roadmap for aligning organizational architecture with AI capabilities. We will analyze the executive leverage points across three core pillars:
  • Culture: Shifting from passive adoption to cross-functional accountability and psychological safety around automated decision-making.
  • Structure: Redesigning decision rights, team topology, and reporting structures to prevent governance bottlenecks.
  • Procedures: Auditing legacy workflows to integrate AI into existing risk controls, compliance checkpoints, and operational cadences.

We are pleased to introduce our guest speaker, Esther van Egerschot.
Esther is an executive-level AI strategy and governance leader with over 15 years of experience advising boards, C-suite leaders, and public sector institutions on responsible AI adoption.
She is the Co-Founder and Chief AI Officer at Board Sovereignty, as well as an Assistant Professor in AI Governance, Ethics, and Audit at the University of Curaçao. Esther bridges legal rigor and technical capability to move AI from early-stage concepts into secure, governed, and high-value production solutions.
A former Member of Parliament responsible for financial markets legislation, she serves as an AI expert for global organizations including UNESCO, the G20, and the EU AI Office, and co-authored Supervising in an AI Era. Esther holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Leiden University and is a certified AI Governance Professional (AIGP) and ISACA Instructor.
