Agile Auditing Framework - improve™

Recently, I have been developing an agile auditing framework called improve™ --

The idea is to develop some sort of a structure to transform Internal Audit ways of working; making IA functions more agile and effective. I believe many IA & Compliance leaders need to rethink their auditing and assurance consulting approach; IA activities need to be more agile, targeted and well-integrated into management plans and transformation projects, including the use of emerging technologies.

What do you think? Do you know of any other frameworks out there for agile auditing? Do you apply agile way in your internal audit? and if not, are you heading that way?

    Hello Mostafa,
Thanks for the input. I am very interested in this Agile approach and I will take a close look to your posts. Curious to know more about this way of work in the Compliance domain...

    Hi Mostafa,
Thank you for this post, I am looking forward to the framework. I audit a number of softwarwe development projects where they use agile, this forces us to also move away from the traditional way of auditing and apply an agile mindset which I find very interesting. We've now starting developing agile focused audit prgrammes, which we constantly change as we go along in the audit process.

Hi Mostafa, this is very timely, I'm currently summarising my lessons learned from the last year or so of 'agile' auditing, both auditing 'agile' projects, and also trying to deliver audits in an 'agile' manner.  There is a lot Internal Audit can do to learn from their counterparts in Tech who have adopted Agile whole-sale, although, like any methodology, it's not a 'one size fits all' approach. For example, when control over requirements is key, Agile is not necessarily the best solution.  I'd be interested in sharing more thoughts with you directly - I'll contact you through linkedin.
    best wishes
