As part of my doctoral dissertation at Webster University, I am conducting research on the characteristics that make a good Information Security (IS) policy. I am reviewing publicly available end-user privacy policies from organizations representing each of the Department of Homeland Security's 16 critical infrastructure sectors. I am requesting your assistance because your articles on privacy.
Would it be possible to have members of your organization complete a short survey? The survey is available through the following link and should only take about 10 minutes to complete: https://webster.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bqE1gtHNtDZHReR.
Accessing the survey implies consent to participate in this research. The information from the survey will be used to establish a framework for evaluating IS policies. No personal information will be collected or used for this research. The survey will only record responses and make them available to me as anonymous raw data.
Your assistance will significantly enhance the scope and quality of my research and contribute to the study of IS policies. Participants may ask to have their data withdrawn from the study after the research has been conducted.
If you want to know more about my research, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 618-624-6233. If you have questions or concerns about your rights as a research participant, you can contact the Webster University Institutional Review Board at email@example.com.
