    Dear all,

Given the options - my choice is answer D.

Key words: PRIMARY benefits + monitoring technical capacity

Option A., B. and C. are also objectives but the main/primary objective of capacity monitioring is to ensure compliance with the (internal) SLAs between the business and IT. First you need to find out the agreed SLAs and the other 3 options are then 2nd step to see what is needed to achieve the SLAs.

    D. ensure that the service level requirements are met.

If you are meeting SLA, that would satisfy A,C. B would still be a benefit, but not the primary benefit of monitoring technical capacity.
