Join us on a journey to explore why all assurances are not created equal and what strengths and weaknesses exist relative to the assurance approaches and mechanisms that exist in the market today. We will discuss what assurances need to be provided and how to obtain those assurances in the most efficient and effective way possible.

Jeff has been in the IT Security field for over 20 years. He brings broad experience from both sides of the industry as a consumer working in a variety of industries to the vendor of several recognized names in security products. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics. As a consumer in the enterprise space, he implemented and managed many products and programs that covered both compliance and security.

Jeff is well versed in a number of the latest technologies and techniques used in the Endpoint security vertical. He is also well qualified to speak on topics ranging from advanced protection, compromise assessment and services including incident response.

Jeff currently leads a team of sales engineers covering 4 regions at BlackBerry.

Blaise is the Healthcare and Financial Services Knowledge Leader at A-LIGN and has over 12 years of experience in Security Compliance and Risk Management. He joined A-LIGN in 2013 and started the HITRUST/HIPAA and Healthcare Services practice in 2015. Having a very unique background as a CPA, CISA and CCSK, Blaise has performed over 500 SOC attestation reviews and over 300 HITRUST/HIPAA assessments for Global 1000 and Fortune 500 clients in various industries.
Blaise is also a sought-after speaker and has delivered several speaking engagements at well-renowned conferences such as HIMSS, HITRUST and ISACA. Blaise has also written dozens of blogs and whitepapers on the topics of Security Compliance, Telemedicine, Blockchain technology and Third-Party Risk Management.

Prior to joining A-LIGN, Blaise was a Senior Consultant at Century Payments, Inc., and an Advisory Associate at KPMG.

Michael Parisi
Vice President of Adoption

Michael Parisi has led over 500 controls-related engagements primarily in the healthcare and financial services industries. He has extensive experience with third-party assurance reporting including HITRUST readiness, HITRUST certification, SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, Agreed Upon Procedure and customized AT-101 engagements. He also has several years’ experience implementing large Oracle ERP systems specializing in the General Ledger and Governance Risk and Compliance modules. He has extensive knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory standards through his external audit and consulting experience, including Sarbanes Oxley, HIPAA, NIST, CMS and state specific standards. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and an MBA from Quinnipiac University. He is an active member of ISACA and IAPP.

Paul "PK" Kellett is a Senior Sales Engineer at Netskope. A self described "Perpetual Entrepreneur", PK is approaching two decades as a Principal Engineer and Network Architect, and most recently, CEO of Dronexlabs. Among his interests, PK holds a license with the US Parachute Association and also volunteers as a mentor at the University of Colorado's Leeds School of Business.
