Presenter: Courtney Reikofski, Senior Managing Consultant, BKD, LLP, Denver

Topic 2:  Addressing Cybersecurity Concerns Amid COVID-19

Presenter: Cy Sturdivant, Director, BKD, LLP, Nashville

Description: Join us for an insightful webinar as we provide an overview of COVID-19 cybersecurity trends and statistics. Our trusted advisors will present the biggest cybersecurity threats facing the non-profit and public sector industries and share best practices to help organizations identify and deter cyberattacks.

Speaker Bios:

Courtney is a member of BKD’s Enterprise Risk Solutions division.  She has more than twelve years of combined experience in the manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, telecommunications, retail, alternative energy, education, and governmental industries.  Her experience includes internal audit, construction audit, compliance audit, and process consulting, including international exposure.

In recent years, she has focused primarily on internal audit and process consulting, such as enterprise risk management, risk assessments, internal control identification, control testing, and process improvement.  She also has experience with vendor audits, control compliance reviews, and data analytics.

Courtney’s construction audit experience includes advising clients on different contracting methods, project delivery types, project controls, and assessment of change orders and pay applications against contracted terms and conditions.  Courtney also has conducted trainings on construction audit procedures.  She is a member of The Institute of Internal Auditors. Courtney is a 2007 graduate of University of Denver, Colorado, with a B.S.B.A. degree in finance with a minor in accounting.

Cy is a member of BKD’s IT Risk Services division’s cybersecurity team and has more than 14 years of experience working with and serving financial institutions.  He primarily focuses on performing IT general control engagements and Internal Audit SOX/FDICIA engagements and managing various other cybersecurity-related services for financial institutions and other industries.

Before joining BKD, he worked for a community bank in their risk management division and in public accounting specializing in IT related internal audits and control assessments.

Cy has been a practicing Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA®) since 2009.  His professional memberships include ISACA®, Tennessee Bankers Association Strategic Technology Steering Committee and InfraGard Middle Tennessee Members Alliance.

He is a graduate of The University of Tennessee, Martin, with a B.S. degree in business administration with accounting and finance emphases, and a graduate of University of Memphis, Tennessee, with an M.B.A. degree.
