Jerald L Garner - "Risk Expert, Cybersecurity" - MS, CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRMA, CRISC, CDPSE, Lead ISMS/27001, ABCP
Jerald joined Walmart in December 2018 and is a Global Business Services Expert Risk Analyst with the External Party Risk Management Team.
He is a team leader and assessor providing innovative solutions for the determination of potential vendor risk on 3rd party risk assessments and the identification of internal market National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cyber Security Framework (CSF) Maturity model assessments.
Jerald has been a National Field Supervisor (NFS) assigned to the Office of National Examinations and Supervision (ONES). Where he provided leadership and managerial direction in developing safe and sound operational examination processes over his ten-year tenure.
He has worked in the Information Systems/Cyber Security field for over 35 years as a dedicated information/cyber security engineer and educator. Additionally, he serves as a board member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Fayetteville Chapter. He is an Adjunct Professor for the University of Arkansas Fayetteville.
