Join us as returning speaker, Apps Garcia presents "Improving the Risk Matrix: A Simple Fix to a Broken Model."  This should be another good one from Apps.

Abstract: Google the term “risk analysis,” and you'll get over 1 billion search results on the subject. Many of these results reference the use of risk matrices and scoring methods that have major flaws and produce dubious results. In this talk, we'll shed light on some of the problems with these methods, and introduce a simple fix that uses proven techniques to provide more reliable risk estimates.
