How to Get What You Want Out of Your Cybersecurity Program: A Roadmap for CISOs

Join Brad Thies, founder and CEO of BARR Advisory, for an interactive session to empower CISOs and GRC leaders to get what they want from their cybersecurity programs. Brad will guide participants in creating clarity with their visions. This includes tools to clarify accountability, set priorities, and establish measurables to gain traction toward this vision within the next 90 days. The session consists of individual exercises, small group discussions, and a debrief, providing participants with a practical roadmap and tools to enhance their organizations' cybersecurity and GRC programs. Brad will address common challenges in cybersecurity, such as complexity with disjointed compliance standards and regulations, supply chain, emerging technologies, and the human element, and offer a simplified vision and goal-setting process to optimize programs. Participants will learn to:

• Establish clear organizational vision and values
• Identify smart goals to execute the vision
• Define accountability within the organization
• Strengthen cybersecurity measurables

By the end, participants will be equipped to rise to new challenges and take a focused approach to continuously improving their cybersecurity programs.

We expect to issue at least 2 CPEs for the event.  The presentation will be virtual from 12 to 2 with additional time for any Q&A.
