Abstract: Companies globally are being faced with increasing privacy regulations from CCPA in the USA to GDPR in the EU and struggling to understand what is required to be compliant with these new laws. Many of the new data protection laws explicitly or implicitly demand privacy engineering, including the EU GDPR. Some organizations are now working to understand the changes from the privacy shield and Schrems II ruling. These all impact the organizations ability to manage privacy and compliance across the organization. The speakers will point you to key tools and offer a practitioner’s perspective to help you get started implementing with data privacy, best practices for privacy engineering and solutions and impacts of privacy shield.
