Join Theresa Grafenstine, the first woman to serve as the Inspector General of the US House of Representatives and the second woman to serve as the International chair of ISACA, as she discusses ISACA's SheLeadsTech initiative. She will also will provide attendees with practical advice on becoming a trusted advisor, building your personal brand, and the art of gaining influence. She will also reflect on her career and share lessons learned on the bumps and bruises she encountered along the way.

Guard Rails for the Digital Revolution
In an increasingly interconnected world, organizations that don’t innovate and broaden their technology footprint are at risk of losing market share. Yet, every day, we hear news reports of another organization being breached. Internal audit, like guard rails, are there to protect while also giving organizations the assurance they need to go fast. To provide value, internal audit needs to find a balance between providing assurance on important data protection functions while supporting the operational innovations that are driving new value.

In this session, Ms. Grafenstine will
• provide an overview of cyber trends and classic breach tactics
• review data protection strategies and ways to communicate these strategies with the board and C-suite, and
• discuss operational innovations like robotic process automation, machine learning, and agile auditing that are positioned to drive the future of internal auditing
