Cybersecurity is a growing and rapidly changing field that touches every part of our lives. It is critical that cybersecurity concepts are understood by everyone from developers to audit professionals who are involved and concerned with the security implications of Information Technologies (IT). The CSX Fundamental Course is designed for this purpose, as well as to provide insight into the importance of cybersecurity, and the integral role of cybersecurity professionals. Designed as a foundational course, it will also prepare learners for the CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals Exam.

Attendance at this Course will not guarantee passing any ISACA offered certification.

Who Should Attend

This course is ideal if you need to gain an understanding of foundational concepts and terminology, and the integral role of cyber security professionals in protecting enterprise data and infrastructure. The Course is also recommended for newcomers to the field who would like to prepare for the Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate exam.

Sushila Nair has been certified by ISACA International to teach CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals Workshop and specializes in cybersecurity, risk, and audit services. Sushila Nair serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Washington, D.C. ISACA Chapter and has presented at CACS, BrightTALK, Seguruinfo and many other international events.

CPE INFORMATION

Earn up to 14 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits in the area of Specialized Knowledge. The ISACA® GWDC is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: http://www.learningmarket.org.

CPE Distribution and Evaluation Survey

CPEs will be distributed along with the event evaluation survey after the completion of the event. Attendees must be present the full two days to receive full CPE credit.
