Details

Technology’s central role in most government and business operations has yet to be recognized and appropriately managed by top leaders. The impacts of technology related risks and actual breaches, inefficiencies, and outages are typically not well understood by business leaders and business metrics fail to reflect their impact on the bottom line.

Our one-day seminar will equip technical and business leaders with governance, strategy development, and operational tools to improve technology risk management practices and financial impact metrics. The concepts discussed will be applied to realistic situations through group exercises and participant interaction.

Learning Objectives

  1. Leading practices for technology management and governance.
  2. Contextualizing recent industry assessments and guidance.
  3. Identifying technology management pillars and their relationship to strategy development and business management.
  4. Engaging stakeholders through facilitated risk management.
  5. Tailoring a structured cybersecurity program implementation methodology to specific organizational goals, environment, and resources.
  6. Using continuous monitoring and improvement to increase process maturity.
