With 15+ years of practice and specialization in Technology Infrastructure, Security Risk, Technology Privacy, Information Security Governance, Productivity Solutions Architect, Security Training & Audit. His works have impacted organizations across Ghana, Zambia, Uganda, South-Sudan, Sudan, South Africa & Rwanda. He has worked in various industries, but not limited to Telecoms, Banking, Fintech, Energy, Petroleum, Academia & Consulting.

Albert currently works with Deutsche Bank AG, Germany as a Principal Auditor (Infrastructure & Cloud Platforms). He also volunteers for Africa Digital Rights Hub (ADRH) and is a Certified PECB Trainer.

Desmond IsraelDesmond Israel

Lawyer and data privacy/information security practitioner, Founder & Lead Consultant - Information Security Architect Ltd

With over 15 years of cybersecurity experience across Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and Liberia, Desmond specializes in cyber laws, global data privacy, open-source intelligence, and technology policy research. He is a Consulting Partner for Legal Afrique Unlimited and founded Information Security Architects Ltd in Ghana. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the Ghana Institute for Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Law School.

 A GW Law Merit Scholar, Desmond holds an LL.M. in National Security and Cybersecurity from George Washington University. Passionate about the intersection of technology, law, and policy, he holds numerous industry certifications and volunteers as Lead Researcher for the Guardian Safety Framework for the Metaverse with XR Safety Initiative (XRSI) in California.

 Desmond is an Associate with Child Online Africa and a former Fellow with the Center for AI and Digital Policy and the Internet Security Alliance. He is an active member of the Ghana Bar Association, IAPP, ISC2, and IIPGH. He also served as co-chair of the IAPP KnowledgeNet Ghana Chapter and board secretary of Africa Digital Rights' Hub LBG.
