About the ISACA Harare Chapter Awards
ISACA Harare Chapter Awards, in their second year running, seek to recognise exceptional individuals with excellent performance and influence in the areas of cyber security, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
This year’s award recipients will be officially announced during ISACA Harare Chapter Digital Trust Summit 2022 in Victoria Falls Zimbabwe on 05 November 2022.
Nominations
The ISACA Harare Chapter invites chapter members to nominate outstanding Chapter members for the various ISACA Harare Chapter Awards.
It is only through peer nominations that ISACA Harare Chapter can recognize exceptional achievements, and the call for nominations for the 2022 ISACA Harare Chapter Awards is now open. - Zimbabwe IT Audit Leader of the year – Recognise an individual for their leadership and significant contribution to advancing and advocating the audit profession, through their contribution and involvement in capability development and training, and through the use of technology and best practices to enhance the work of the auditors.
- Zimbabwe IT Governance Leader of the year – Recognise an individual who demonstrated outstanding leadership and introduced best corporate governance practices within and beyond their organisation. Made a positive impact and gone beyond his/her normal duties to encourage and support talent development in governance areas.
- Zimbabwe IT Risk Leader of the year – Recognise an individual who demonstrated outstanding leadership and introduced best corporate risk management practices within and beyond their organisation. Who has made a positive impact and gone beyond his/her normal duties to encourage and support talent development in risk management.
- Zimbabwe Information / IT Security leader of the year – Recognise an individual who has dedicated their time and effort to promote best practices and improve information security practices. Thought leader that demonstrated outstanding and contributory leadership and create positive impact to the IT Security industry.
- SheLeads Tech – Recognise outstanding women in technology leadership / workforce. Must be Chapter member.
- Member of the year – Recognise a member who has inspired other members or who has carried the ISACA name to places in Zimbabwe or who has contributed a lot to the chapter during the year under review or who has been leading or participating a lot in Chapter discussions digital platforms or any other acts that has strengthened the Chapter or its membership.
- Volunteer of the year – Recognise sterling efforts as a chapter volunteer. Only board members can provide nominees for this award.
General Eligibility
- Nominees must be ISACA Harare Chapter members in good standing.
- Nominations are open to Zimbabweans.
- Award assessment will be based on performance in Chapter Year 2022.
- Contributions to their organisation in the respective area of assessment.
- Contributions to the Zimbabwe community in the respective area of assessment.
- Self-nominations are NOT allowed.
- ISACA Harare Chapter Board Members are NOT eligible for nomination.
- No consent is needed from the nominee. You are requested to provide the nominee business contact (email and mobile) so that the nominees can be reached if they are shortlisted.
- Only Chapter members can make nominations for awards.
