The annual Holiday Luncheon is jointly sponsored by the AGA Albany Chapter, the Albany Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Albany Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the Hudson Valley Chapter of ISACA.
Our speaker, Gwendolyn Sykes, has 31 years of federal service holding such positions as Chief Financial Officer of the Secret Service and Chief Financial Officer at NASA. Gwen also served as Yale University’s Chief Financial Officer, the first in that university’s 306-year history, and Chief Financial Officer for Morehouse College. Previous government experience includes working within the Department of Defense and in the office of U.S. Senator Ted Stevens. She has been recognized for her achievements by Black Enterprise, Newsweek, the Today Show and the National Black Caucus of State Legislators. Gwen’s presentation “How will I AI…..” will cover how Artificial Intelligence will impact finance, accounting, and auditing. What is currently occurring in the industry and how it will impact us moving into the future.
