Web Meeting: Risk Management Framework (RMF) System Security Plan (SSP) and Engineering

When:  Feb 22, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM (CT)
Topic:  Risk Management Framework (RMF) System Security Plan (SSP) and Engineering Integration for Weapon/Tactical Systems
Speaker: Karen Williams
CPE Hours: 1

Background: RMF provides a framework that is often times seen with a primary focus of enterprise IT systems which can make it difficult to understand how to apply RMF to weapon and tactical systems that are focused on engineering life cycles.

Learning Objectives:

This discussion focuses on how to integrate engineering milestones and products into an RMF SSP to document the selection and implementation of security controls. We will take a look at where cyber professionals obtain information from engineers to populate key fields of the SSP.
