Background: This talk will concentrate on the North Alabama Region landscape of counterintelligence threats. Lessons learned from recent investigations (where appropriate) will be discussed. Ways to protect organizations and types of activities that might indicate targeted operations.

Speaker Bio: Kerry Straub, has served over 20 years as Special Agent for Counterintelligence at the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) in Huntsville. Kerry served as an officer for the US Army Corps of Engineers for 8 years. Graduated with a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery and a Bachelors in Mathematics from Rutgers University-New Brunswick. Kerry is an active member of the Huntsville-Madison community and volunteers in several organizations such as Young Life and Rotary of Madison.
