Speaker Bio:

Karen Williams, CISSP, is Manager, Cyber Engineering Section - Strategic Defense & International Operations Division, at JRC Integrated Systems. She is also a part-time instructor at UAH’s College of Continuing Education teaching the CISSP. She is the Creator/Facilitator of Cyber Brews: Mind Melding for Cyber Professionals. She has fifteen years of experience with providing information system management and cybersecurity engineering expertise for Department of Defense (DoD) in:

    • System/Software Lifecycle Development
    • Requirements Analysis
    • Certification and Accreditation of information systems
    • Disaster Recovery/Business Contingency Planning
    • Risk Management
    • Security Engineering
    • Testing and Cyber Assessments
    • Supply Chain Risk Management

She has a BS in Communication Arts/Psychology, a MS in Management Information Systems, and completed the Information Assurance Certificate Program at UAH.
