About Speaker
Varun brings with him close to 12 years of experience in the field of compliance, fraud investigation, risk management, Internal Audit, Anti-Money laundering as well as Learning & Development. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Compliance and Risk Management from GRC Institute, Sydney and has completed certifications in the field of Fraud - Certified Fraud Examination), Anti-Money Laundering (CAME) as well as Risk Management.
Additionally, he has been actively involved with the Learning and Development team for creating training contents as well presenting to various stakeholders within the organization on risk management practices, process flows, project deliverable learning. Varun is also a Certified Trainer and Facilitator from Middle Earth Consultants, Carlton Advanced Management Institute, US as well as ICBI, Delhi. In his previous job assignments at KPMG, he was supervising a team of more than 30 people for various projects and assignments.
Currently he is heading the Compliance & IA department of CBRE India, managing the issues or concerns for more than 10000 employees and over 40000 sub-contractor employees/business partners in India.
