Exam and Certification Pathway
The course fully prepares candidates for the official ISACA IT Risk Fundamentals Certificate Exam. This online, remotely proctored test features 75 multiple-choice questions across a 120-minute timeline. Passing requires a scaled score of 65% or higher. Earning this certificate serves as an excellent milestone before taking advanced industry credentials like the ISACA CRISC. A foundation in ISACA IT Risk also stands you in good stead accross the entire family of ISACA Certifications.

Course Structure and Core Domains
The training course aligns with the exam curriculum, covering six essential risk management domains:
- Risk Introduction and Overview (5%): Fundamental terms, concepts, and the significance of IT controls.
- Risk Governance and Management (15%): Defining enterprise risk appetite, operational capacity, and tolerance levels.
- Risk Identification (20%): Spotting, categorising, and documenting vulnerabilities and potential operational disruptions.
- Risk Assessment and Analysis (25%): Evaluating the financial impact and likelihood of threat exploitation.
- Risk Response (15%): Designing mitigation strategies, accepting, avoiding, or transferring identified threats.
- Risk Monitoring, Reporting, and Communication (20%): Delivering transparent dashboards to enterprise executives.
