Awards Ceremony

The ISACA Annual AGM is taking place virtually at 7pm December 2nd, 2021.

Each year ISACA HQ identify the Top 3 exam scorers in Ireland. To recognise the Top 3 scorers, as part of our AGM, we reward the Top 3 with a plaque and update our roll of honour list.

Of some importance this year

The current Chapter Board will complete its two years’ service this December and therefore an election must be held at the Annual General Meeting. Nominations for the new Board are now open.

Nomination Form is located on the members only library (make sure to log in with your ISACA account).

The Chapter By-Laws require a minimum of five chapters officers:

  1. President
  2. Vice-President
  3. Secretary
  4. Treasurer; and
  5. Immediate Past President.

The latter post is automatically filled by the outgoing president therefore as a minimum 4 roles are required to be filled for the Board to continue. The roles and responsibilities of each of the above officer positions can be found within the Chapter By-laws which are available on the ISACA.ie website.

Each nominee must be proposed and seconded by ISACA Ireland Chapter Members, who must provide their ISACA Membership number and email account to enable verification. Nominations must indicate whether the individual is being nominated for a specific role above or as a general board member. All nominees, proposers and seconders must be members of the Chapter in good standing. Note that existing board members are eligible for re-election.

At the AGM on the 2nd December a vote will be held for each of the roles above, and if more than 8 general board nominations are received, a vote may be held for each Board member position. Where only one person is nominated for a particular role, then that position will be ratified at the AGM.
