The ISACA Auckland Chapter is pleased to announce our next lunchtime networking event, to be held on the lunchtime of the 18h of November 2024.
Topic:
Securing Critical Infrastructure: Lessons from the Australian SOCI Act
Session Overview:
In this session, we will explore key strategies to secure critical infrastructure, focusing on the lessons learned from Australia's Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act. We will examine the challenges unique to protecting critical sectors, particularly in managing cyber risks, mitigating supply chain vulnerabilities, and ensuring timely incident reporting.
Through real-world examples, this session will highlight how organisations can enhance their security posture, improve operational resilience, and streamline incident management. We’ll also touch on the integration of IT and OT environments and provide actionable insights for organisations looking to strengthen their infrastructure security in the face of evolving threats.
Attendees will walk away with practical strategies to better manage the risks facing their organisations and foster resilience against cyber threats.
