About this Event

Dear members,

Our lunchtime event for March 2021 will be held on Wednesday, 17 March 2021.

Due to the volatility of the recent COVID development, we have decided to schedule this session as an online session with a speaker who's currently based in the UK.

Presentation Topic: Achieving a Paradigm Shift: A Case Study for Transformation

Achieving results from a transformation requires parallelised change across a number of areas. But with strong exec sponsorship, clear success metrics - and an understanding that things can feel worse before they improve - it is possible to implement sustained change to deliver business value quickly, reduce commercial risk and greatly enhance customer trust.

Mike will discuss a recent transformation engagement to get a long-running and non-delivering core banking programme back on track at TietoEVRY in Norway.

Speaker: Mike Gatman

Mike is a delivery and transformation leader, who has worked with some of the largest brands in the UK and Europe, including Sky, Tesco and TietoEVRY. He has improved the delivery capabilities in each of these organisations, focusing on throughput and value along with risk reduction.

Before his recent return to his homeland of New Zealand, he worked as Delivery Principal for ThoughtWorks in London, a global technology consultancy that are pioneers in agile methodologies.
