Assessing the security maturity of a networked device vendor can be a challenge. The standard security questionnaires don't dig deep enough into the security of the Things your organization is looking to purchase and join to your network. Bryan will be sharing his insights into assessing the security of IoT devices based on his experience as the CISO of Lexmark and his experience owning product security in R&D.
Speaker Bio:
Bryan Willett is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) responsible for IT security, Data privacy, Committee for Foreign Investment in United States Lexmark (CFIUS) regulations, and physical security. Under his tenure, Lexmark has made significant investments in IT security infrastructure, monitoring and operations. These investments are focused on reducing Lexmark’s overall security risks, promote security and privacy with customers and comply with CFIUS regulations. Additionally, Willett has been instrumental in guiding the business in areas of supply chain security, vendor management, and product/software/cloud security. From July 2008 to August 2016, Willett was a member of R&D responsible for product security. Willett joined Lexmark in October 1997. Willett has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisville.
