Abstract:
Cybersecurity is an important part of business today, but still so difficult to define how important in quantitative terms – why? Come to this special joint event between the Kentuckiana ISACA chapter and the Society of Information Risk Analysts (SIRA):
· Hear from a panel of experts about the power of quantitative risk analysis
· Learn how to start defining the value of cybersecurity
· Participate in a group exercise to practice concepts of quantitative analysis

Knowledge Level Required:
· Basic understanding of cyber risk assessment concepts

Learning Objectives:
· Learners will be able to describe basic quant terminology and concepts
· Learners will be able to describe the benefits (pros and cons) of quant
· Learners will be able to create a simple risk scenario
· Learners will be able to decompose risk factors and develop quantitative likelihood and impact estimates
· Learners will be able to run Monte Carlo simulations and interpret results
