AI is very much a “hot topic”, as seen at our recent events about AI and RPA, Drones, Telecoms, Ethics etc. 

AI and Cloud technologies certainly have the potential to have a massive impact on our lives and the organisations we rely on.

At this event, our expert presenter will give his perspectives on what AI can really do today, what capabilities we should expect to emerge in the near future, and what is needed to ensure society benefits from this fascinating domain.

Our expert presenter is:

  • JAMES LUKE – Distinguished Engineer & CTO, IBM

James is a Distinguished Engineer and Master Inventor. He is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for IBM Global Business Services' Public Sector account in the UK and Ireland.

James has extensive experience delivering cognitive and analytics solutions in Defence, Law Enforcement, Insurance and other industries. He is a prolific inventor with multiple patents.

His PhD with the Image, Speech and Intelligent Systems group of the University of Southampton was based on the ‘Application of Intelligent Agents in Information Systems Protection.
