Please join us for a lunch presentation by Varonis! We are pleased to announce Varonis is hosting a lunch meeting for our chapter members to learn about current data threats while enjoying a nice meal. There are no costs to members for lunch.  Registration is required!

Presentation Topic:  How Attackers Prey on
Uncertainty
It takes a lot of visibility and context to detect and respond to sophisticated threats. Attackers usually target data, where enterprises have the least visibility and most uncertainty. In this session, we’ll explore new, sophisticated threats from inside and out, demonstrate how easy it is for adversaries to bypass traditional controls, and present a methodology to better protect data at scale, improve threat detection, and reduce uncertainty.

Presenter:

Chris Hoesly is a manager of sales engineering for the Midwest region for Varonis. He’s been with the company for 4 years starting as the primary sales engineer for Wisconsin before moving into the manager role. Currently, his growing team resides in Illinois and Wisconsin. Prior to Varonis, he spent approximately 8 years in the financial services and logistics industries in various engineering and engineering management roles.
