Virtual Events Guide

  
As many are well aware, worldwide health restrictions in light of the COVID-19 pandemic have forced many event organisers to rethink the way in-person events and gatherings are held. This has especially impacted voluntary organisations like ours operating with constrained times, budgets and resources.

Despite all this has been happening around us, we at the ISACA Malta Chapter wanted to take the opportunity to see this as an opportunity and a challenge to continue offering professional networking, educational events, courses and conferences at the same quality as before COVID-19 days.

We spent the first few months of our term condensing our efforts and transforming months of meticulous planning into an intense real-time exercise in organisational flexibility, agility, innovation, and adaptation — all without compromising our core values. As a result, our team turned what initially seemed like the perfect storm into a golden opportunity to showcase our mission, vision, and purpose.

When we took our Educational Events virtual, we raised the bar and by shifting online, we not only brought people back, but we also succeeded in reaching an even wider audience.
