Educational Event Synopsis
Security assurance is traditionally seen as performing penetration testing assessments. In recent years, due to the sophistication of attacks and the evolution of the security threat landscape, it has been shown that the traditional penetration testing would not provide the level of resilience that mature organisation require. Red Team operations recreate the scenario of a sophisticated hacking group targeting an organisation.
Demonstration of an end-to-end spear phishing attack where an attacker gains access to a workstation via execution of a malicious attachment. This talk will demonstrate threat actors' tactics, tools and procedures and provide a clear idea of the actions that an attacker could perform.
In summary: hacking like in the movies! :-)
