COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The seminar aims to provide participants an understanding of IT General Controls, how to assess the effectiveness of the IT General Controls and how to test the IT General Controls implementation.

COURSE OBJECTIVE:

• To provide guidance in assessing the general IT controls within the IT environment are operating effectively
• To learn techniques in determining whether application controls are complete and accurate
• To understand and learn techniques in validating whether implementation of applications including computer operations, access controls, systems development and backup and recovery sufficiently provides reasonable controls to minimize the risk of compromise.
