Hybrid event: The Mental Health Status of the Cyber Workforce

When:  Apr 19, 2023 from 17:30 to 19:00 (ET)
Associated with  Melbourne Chapter

This interactive presentation will walkthrough the results of the recently completed research project on self-reported job-related
experiences, psychological capital and sleep quality of cybersecurity professionals. The research has provided an understanding on how cybersecurity professionals have been
approaching stress which is inherent in the many functions in their role. Peter and SheLeadsTech will workshop to the participants on the relatability of the outcomes on the
research, and determine support and actionable items to manage stress.
Peter will also talk about the work of Cybermindz.org more generally in protecting teams from burnout and arresting the skills loss in the sector, and of the need to build strong
psychological resilience in new entrants to the profession.
