Common Data Risks and Issues in Microsoft Excel by Tai ChooTack
When:
Feb 24, 2022 from 12:30 to 13:30 (ET)
Associated with
Melbourne Chapter
Do you believe companies collapse because of Microsoft Excel?
Yes! It’s true!
This is because many companies keep their data in Microsoft Excel. Some keep their business-critical data. Sadly, many are unaware of the potential data risks and issues. Tai will use various scenarios to show you common data risks and issues in Microsoft Excel, so that you can easily take remedial actions to address and prevent these data risks and issues in Microsoft Excel for your data.

My name is Tai, and my forte and works is Microsoft Excel. I have unique views on Excel because of my prior experiences. I see Excel as a magical robot, that could automate many boring works. My decade plus experience as an introvert programmer enabled me to perform automation in Microsoft Excel. I see Excel as a data cruncher. My role as an SAP ERP consultant in MRO industry solution, allows me to see much data is analysed outside of ERP due to time and cost. I see Excel as an elegant reporter. My involvement in Project Management Office let me see many timely and accurate reports are needed for informed decision making. When all these experienced combined with Microsoft Excel, I see Excel is more than a popular spreadsheet program. It’s like a philosophy on how we view data.
Looking forward to “see” you.
