Data breaches are not as random

Data breaches are not as random as you might think. We have discovered that they can be accurately forecast at a macro-level, based upon insufficient staffing levels. Surprisingly, audit (CISA) is just as effective at preventing a data breach as staff working in information technology. I would like to speak to your members about these new findings, how they can help the 3rd-line of defense and in particular how they can be used to quantitatively assess the effectiveness of Third Party Risk Management.
