With the growing need of technology savy staff Tech901 was founded in 2015 by community development and business leaders with a goal of training a Memphis workforce to meet local I.T. hiring needs. Tonya Braden will present an overview of Tech901, our training areas, how to apply, and stats regarding employment and our impact on the community.

Tonya Braden is a Workforce Development Specialist and Technical Trainer with over 15 years in the post-secondary education industry. She is currently serving as the Academy Operations Manager for Tech901. Tech901 is a non-profit organization that provides IT training for individuals in the greater Memphis area to fill the expansive need for skilled employees. Her personal mission is to “Connect People with their Passion” by providing access to professional development which often includes facilitating info sessions, resume writing seminars, interviewing techniques, and professional networking training
