Project Management Seminar - 5/1/2019

​This course examines project management roles and environments, the project life cycle and various techniques of work planning (including Agile project management), and control and evaluation to achieve project objectives. The tools currently available to project managers are discussed throughout this course. This course is geared to any role in Audit, Risk, Security, and Governance where executing strategic goals and objectives helps drive organizational success.

Learning Objectives:  
• Understand key basic concepts of Project Management and how they apply to managing audits 
• Learn the importance of project budgeting and creating a baseline  
• Discuss optimal ways to manage project progress and what to do when adversity rears its ugly head

Speaker Bio
Danny M. Goldberg is a well-known speaker on internal auditing and People-Centric Skills. Danny co-authored People-Centric© Skills: Communication and Interpersonal Skills for Internal Auditors, via Wiley Publications. This is the first book published specifically to address the wide-ranging topic of communication skills for internal auditors. It has been offered through the IIA and ISACA bookstores since July 2015 and has sold over 2,500 copies (through 2017).
